I’m Erik Smith, a dedicated soccer coach with 11 years of experience at the high school level and 19 years coaching youth soccer. My passion for the sport has shaped my approach to mentoring young athletes, helping them develop skills, discipline, and a love for the game.

Beyond soccer, I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast, spending my free time hiking, running, cycling, and enjoying anything that involves outdoor recreation. I believe in the motto, "Luck is the residue of design, so work hard to design well," which guides my coaching and life philosophy.

I’ve been happily married to my wife, Jill, for 23 years, and together we have a 17-year-old daughter, Riley, and a 10-year-old son, Finn. Our family also includes three dogs—Jack, Ting, and Annie—and one cat, Squeaks.
